We
would also like to invite you to become a member of the Wisconsin ATV
Association (WATVA). WATVA is a social organization which promotes
better understanding of issues concerning the ATVer. This organization
has many membership benefits including a quarterly publication ("Trail
Tails"), an annual journal and many events in which you can participate.
The Wisconsin ATV Association (WATVA)
- An established statewide organization that serves as a model for developing
other successful advocacy groups that improve the OHV riding area existence
or environment in which they work. This organization is underway with an
initiative to include off highway motorcycles (OHM) in the state of Wisconsin's
registration/sticker program. There is a possibility of working with the
4 Wheel Drive (4WD) community in some similar fashion although details
are still developing. It is possible the WATVA publication (Trail Tales)
will serve as the official publication of the additional OHM group and
in some way with the 4WD organization. One consideration is to rename the
organization the Wisconsin OHV Association. The WATVA is the lead organization
for wheeled vehicle issues related to riding area access in the state of
Wisconsin.
